CNA Training
The Certified Nursing Aid (CNA) program is designed to prepare our potential care givers to take the State Exam. CNAs
work closely with nurses and medical staff to ensure that patients are provided basic care. CNAs also known as
nurses’ aides, or orderlies, or home health aides, work under the supervision of a registered nurse and provide
assistance of daily living tasks to individuals. Since they are needed throughout the nation, you will be able to
secure employment opportunities in any state you become certified. In Georgia, job security in a medical field is
higher compared to most careers, and you can earn your CNA license after completing the training program. At Hamilton Mill Medical Services, we aim to help students enhance their education by teaching
them multiple skills through lectures, hands on training, and videos. We make each skill available online for CNA
students to review for the state exam as well. Through our CNA training program, you will become experienced in
handling and performing the following:
- Taking and Recording the Patient’s Vital signs.
- Blood Pressure
- Respiration
- Pulse rate
- Temperature
- Oxygen Saturation rate
- Bathing, Feeding and Dressing Patients
- Observing Physical and/or Mental Changes
- Patient Care
- Nutritional Needs
- Safety Measures
- Properly Responding To Emergencies
